THE MUSIC
Headlining the live music is Xenia-based heartland rock band The New Old Fashioned, with music and lyrics celebrating the Midwestern lifestyle.
"David Payne and I got to talking about what would be fun to do when the idea of throwing a festival in downtown Xenia came up," David Obenour, organizer of Xenia Lives, said in a press release. "The area's been going through an amazing transformation and The New Old-Fashioned guys are from there. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to do something cool in their hometown."
Other acts include the Tim Pritchard Revelry, Once a Pine, Neo American Pioneers, Trey Stone and the Ringers, Age Nowhere and Charlie and Amanda Jackson.

TICKETS
There will also be food trucks, artisan vendors and beer for sale from Xenia’s Devil Wind Brewing.
Food trucks and vendors include Turkeysrus, Sweet P's Handcrafted Ice Pops, Magical Mud Ceramics, Xenia Chiropractic, Let's Glow Crazy, Suge's Smokehouse Enterprises, LLC., Buckabilly Kettle Korn.
The event is free, but VIP tickets are available online and can be purchased at the gate the day of the event.
“Keeping this event free was important to us,” Obenour said. “We don’t want there to be any excuse not to want to come out on a beautiful summer day and check out the great bands, beers and eats that Xenia and the surrounding area has to offer. Of course there will be VIP tickets, too, if you want a little more elbow room and a shorter line for those beers, but either way it’s going to be a great afternoon out in the City of Hospitality!”
